Your numbers stay yours.
Here is what StaySums collects, what it never receives, and exactly how support and the 30-day refund work.
StaySums never asks you to connect a bank account or booking-platform account.
Stripe handles your payment. StaySums does not receive or store your full card number.
StaySums does not sell or rent personal information and does not use advertising pixels.
What StaySums never receives
- Your bank login, bank account information, or booking-platform login.
- Your full card number. Payment details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and handled by Stripe.
- The numbers typed into StaySums' free calculators. Those calculations run in your browser and are not submitted to StaySums.
- The data you enter in the downloaded workbook. The file stays in Excel, Google Sheets, or wherever you choose to store it.
What we collect
Website visits
StaySums uses Vercel Web Analytics to see anonymous, aggregate traffic such as the page visited, referrer, approximate country or region, device type, browser, and operating system. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and is designed not to track a visitor across sites or across days.
Attribution during one visit
If a StaySums link includes UTM source, medium, campaign, or content labels, those labels are kept in your browser's sessionStorage for the current tab session. They are carried to relevant StaySums download, reviewer, and checkout links so we can tell which free resource or partner introduced the visit. They are not stored in a cookie or permanent localStorage.
Purchases
Stripe sends StaySums the purchaser email, amount, currency, payment status, and transaction or checkout identifiers needed to deliver the product, answer support questions, issue refunds, prevent fraud, and keep transaction records. StaySums does not receive your full card details.
Email and support
If you email StaySums or receive a purchase email, Resend processes the email address, message content, and delivery metadata needed to send or receive that message.
Founding Host reviewer applications
The reviewer form collects your email, number of rentals, booking platforms, current tracking approach, the problem you want to solve, and any referral labels attached to the visit. This information is used only to review and administer the reviewer program—not to add you to a newsletter.
How we use the information
StaySums uses the information above only to:
- deliver purchases and free downloads;
- answer support questions and process refunds;
- review and administer Founding Host applications;
- protect checkout, email, and forms from fraud or abuse;
- understand anonymous traffic and which pages or partners lead to downloads, applications, or purchases; and
- maintain transaction and accounting records.
StaySums does not sell or rent personal information. Reviewer applications are not used for newsletter marketing.
Services that help StaySums operate
These companies process limited information for the purposes described above under their own terms and privacy practices:
- Stripe handles checkout and payment processing.
- Resend handles transactional and support email.
- Vercel Web Analytics provides anonymous, cookie-free website analytics.
Retention and your choices
Payment records are kept as needed to complete transactions, provide refunds and support, prevent abuse, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Support messages and reviewer applications are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond and administer those requests.
You may email support@staysums.com to ask what personal information StaySums has about you or to request a correction or deletion. Some transaction information may need to be retained for accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
The 30-day refund policy
A full refund, without a long form or a call.
Email support@staysums.com within 30 calendar days of purchase, using the email address from your order. StaySums will return the full original purchase price to the original payment method. You may keep the downloaded file.
StaySums is a US$49 one-time purchase, not a subscription. A reason for the refund helps improve the workbook but is optional. After StaySums initiates the refund, the time it takes to appear is controlled by Stripe and your bank or card issuer.

Organizing tool, not professional advice
StaySums and its free resources help organize vacation-rental income and expenses. They do not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice and do not replace a qualified professional.
Children
StaySums is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
